Terms of Service

Last updated 5 August 2026.

About us

SynkHaus is a trading name of Events Barn Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom, based in Killyleagh, Co. Down. Contact: karl@synkhaus.co.uk

These terms apply to everything you buy from synkhaus.co.uk. By placing an order you accept them.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract exists once we send order confirmation. We may decline an order, for example if an item is unavailable, if there has been a pricing error, or if we cannot ship to your location.

Prices

Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at 20% where applicable. Import VAT and duty outside the UK are your responsibility. Please see our Shipping Policy. We may change prices at any time, but not for orders already confirmed.

Products

We sell electronic components and smart home hardware, much of it intended for installation by a competent person. Product descriptions, specifications and images are provided in good faith and are as accurate as we can make them, but manufacturer specifications occasionally change without notice.

It is your responsibility to make sure a product is suitable for your intended use before ordering. If you are not sure, ask us first. We would rather have the conversation than process a return.

Installation and safety

Several of our products involve mains electricity, high-current DC, or lithium batteries. These must be installed by someone competent to do so, in line with the wiring regulations and any other rules that apply where you live.

We are not liable for loss, damage or injury arising from incorrect installation, misuse, or use of a product outside its stated specification. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual property

Content on this site is ours or is used with permission. Please do not reproduce it commercially without asking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and disputes fall to the courts of Northern Ireland. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove rights you have under your own local law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order.
