Zone valves, a lighting group, a pump, a pair of gates. Where you need reliable local switching but sixteen channels would be silly.

You will need an external PSU. Not included. Don't skimp — a flaky supply on a relay board causes intermittent faults that take hours to find.
The cased variants cost a few pounds more and save you sourcing an enclosure.
Choose RS485 vs CAN before you order — they aren't interchangeable and the board is fixed.
