What it's for
DIY and semi-professional LiFePO4 battery builds, 8S to 16S, 24V or 48V, up to 200A. Inverter comms over CAN or RS485, so the BMS and inverter actually agree about state of charge.
Notes from configuring these
Set cell count and capacity before anything else. It sounds obvious. It is the single most common thing we find wrong on units someone else has set up.
Balance settings are what catch people out, not the wiring. Set the balance trigger just below the top of the charge curve so balancing happens where cells actually diverge — and keep the window narrow, or it shuffles charge around for no reason and makes heat.
The second UART port is the reason to buy this version. Running more than one pack without the parallel display is guesswork.
Test before it goes on a wall. We run every pack on the bench with monitoring for 48 hours before it goes anywhere near a customer. Batteries are the one thing not to rush.
